There's no script and no long list of stiff group poses. I'll capture the day as it unfolds around you: the getting-ready giggles, the quiet breath before you walk in, the confetti, the first dance and everything in between. The photographs you'll return to most are rarely the formal ones — they're the stolen glances and the belly laughs.

I photograph in a natural, documentary style with a warm edit, using soft, real light wherever possible. You'll get the classic portraits you'd like for the mantelpiece, but they'll be made gently and quickly, so you can get back to your guests.

How your wedding day flows

We'll meet (or have a good video call) before the wedding to talk through your timings, your must-have moments and the people who matter most. On the day I arrive early, stay flexible, and work around your plans rather than the other way round. If the schedule slips — and it often does — that's completely fine.

I'm comfortable shooting at churches, barns, country houses, village halls and back gardens. Whether your day is a big celebration or just the two of you and a handful of your favourite people, I'll photograph it with the same calm and care.
